Questions
What counts as a tool call?
One tool response. A full HTS classification takes about five, so 500 calls is roughly 100 classifications.
Is the allowance per skill, or per person?
Neither. The 500 calls belong to the organization, pooled across every skill and every member. Add as many members as you like — one allowance, and on a paid plan one subscription. Only calls that return a result count.
What happens at the limit?
Tool calls stop returning results and say why. Nothing is charged, nothing is deleted. A subscription lifts the limit for the whole organization.
Do I need my own AI subscription?
Yes. Proofwork runs inside Claude or ChatGPT over the open MCP standard: we supply reference data as tools, never the model. We never call a model, so there is no inference to bill you for.
Which skills are included?
All four, on every plan. Certified: HTS tariff classification, with its method and failure modes published. In beta: restricted-party screening, post-classification trade flags, FDA medical-device classification. Beta means no eval-harness run stands behind the skill yet: it ships with its sources, its as-of dates and what it will not determine, but no accuracy figure.
What does Proofwork see?
Only the arguments of each tool call: a product description, and optionally materials, use, origin or codes. Not your conversation, files or assistant memory. Inputs and results are not stored and train nothing. See the privacy policy.
Can I cancel?
Yes, from your account page. Access runs to the end of the billing period.
