Beta

Add Trade Risk to your AI assistant in under a minute. One URL, any client.

Beta. This skill is live and its measured results are published, but it has not been certified by Proofwork yet. It is a screening aid, not legal advice.

1

Add the server

In Claude (web, mobile, or desktop):

  1. Open Settings → MCP Servers (or Connectors)
  2. Click Add
  3. Set name to Proofwork Trade Risk
  4. Set URL to:
https://mcp.proofworklabs.com/mcp

Leave OAuth fields empty. Authentication is handled automatically.

2

Sign in when prompted

On first use, a browser window opens for sign-in. Use your Google, Microsoft, or email account. This happens once — your session is remembered.

3

Screen your first party

Try this in your AI assistant:

"Screen Mahan Air, Tehran, Iran against the US restricted party lists."

"Screen these five suppliers and tell me which ones need a closer look."

Your AI will call the screening tools, then walk through each candidate: which listed name or alias matched, how the country, address, date of birth or ID compares, and whether it is a true match, a false positive or needs escalation. Give it every detail you have. The more discriminators, the fewer false positives.

Before you rely on a result

  • Check data_as_of in the response. List data is refreshed about every 12 hours, and a stale_warning appears when it is more than 48 hours old.
  • Ownership is not screened. Under OFAC's 50 Percent Rule a company owned 50% or more by blocked persons is blocked without being listed. Screen the owners too.
  • Only US lists are covered, and names must be in Latin, Cyrillic or Greek script.
  • No candidates does not mean cleared. Verify against the official agency list and the Federal Register before acting. This is a screening aid, not legal advice and not a substitute for a compliance programme.

Free tier: 500 MCP tool calls per organization, pooled across every Proofwork skill. A batch screen of up to 50 parties counts as one call. No credit card required. See pricing for unlimited access.
